Geology

Gemstones, dominated by aquamarine (Beryl) ,hosted in pegmatites , amethyst. Pegmatites thickness varies between approximately 0.5m to 4m and extends to about 800m following a N150° trend. The aquamarine crystals are well-formed hexagonal prismatic (3-15mm in length and up to 10mm across). The area has great potential for a medium scale mine.
